The hot-selling Skoda Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan have now arrived in a new avatar. Skoda is introducing the new Elegance Editions of the Kushaq and Slavia which come with a starting price tag of INR 18.31 lakh ex-showroom for the Kushaq Elegance Edition and INR 17.52 lakh ex-showroom for the Slavia Elegance Edition. This price is for the Manual Transmission version of the Kushaq and Slavia. The brand also offers a DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) Automatic version which comes with a price tag of INR 19.51 lakh ex-showroom for the Kushaq Elegance Edition and INR 18.92 lakh ex-showroom for the Slavia Elegance Edition.
What is the Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition?
Skoda positions the Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition above the top-of-the-line Style variants. The company also reveals that the Kushaq Elegance Edition and the Slavia Elegance Edition will have a limited production run as part of the special edition models. Both the Kushaq and Slavia Elegance editions come exclusively powered by the 1.5-litre TSI engine paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Skoda Elegance Edition Colourway
The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Editions boast to meet the evolving trend of classic black colour. Both cars get a Deep Black paint accented by chrome trims. This includes a calligraphic ‘Elegance’ inscription on the B-pillar and a Chrome Lower Door Garnish. The Slavia Elegance Edition also gets a scuff plate with ‘Slavia’ inscription and a chrome trunk garnish. While the Kushaq comes with 17-inch VEGA Dual Tone alloy wheels, the Slavia gets 16-inch Ving Alloy Wheels.

Powering the Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition is the 1.5-litre TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) Petrol Engine. The EVO-generation four-cylinder engine produces 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The engine also features a variable vane geometry turbocharger and friction reducing plasma-coated cylinder liners. The state-of-the-art motor also comes with a segment-first Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), which shuts down two out of the four cylinders under low-load reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emission.
