Bajaj has launched a new affordable variant of its electric scooter Chetak in India. The new Chetak 3503 is now available at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Read its complete details below.

Bajaj Chetak 3503 complete details

The new affordable variant of Chetak scooter is equipped with the same chassis and battery as its premium variants.

However, it offers fewer features including a basic LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, dum brakes, no sequential indicators, and a longer 0-80% charging time of 3 hours and 25 minutes.

Apart from the fewer features, it is suspended over the same 3.5 kWh battery pack, which delivers a claimed range of 155 km. However, the top speed is limited to a less 63 km/h as compared to the other 35 variants.

Due to the same chassis, its underseat storage space is also not compromised as it continues offering 35 litre space. Additionally, it does get two riding modes (Economy and Sports), hill-hold assist, and a full-metal body.

The launch price of the Chetak 3503 is Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the 3501 and 3502 variants are positioned above this new variant, the 2903 variant still remains the entry-level point in the brand range.

The new Chetak 3503 competes with the Ather Rizta, Ola S1 X+, and TVS iQube 3.4.

The new Chetak 3503 has made the Bajaj electric scooter brand even more affordable and reachable among a wider audience. Although, it gets basic features, its full-metal body and impressive ride quality have helped it reaching the top of the sales charts.
