Simple Energy has announced more details on the inauguration of its first manufacturing facility. The state-of-the-art manufacturing unit of the EV maker goes by the name Simple Vision 1.0. As per reports, it will open to commencing operations from January 19th, 2023. With the ongoing trial production runs, Simple Energy will soon officially commission its production ahead of the commercial launch and deliveries of the Simple One electric scooter, which is the flagship offering by the company.
Simple Vision 1.0 Details
Built with an initial investment of 100+ crore, the facility spreads across 2,00,000 sqft. Simple Vision 1.0’s address reads as Shoolagiri, Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The facility has the capacity to manufacture up to 1 million units annually. Adhering to industry 4.0 standards and committing to staying ahead of the curve, Simple Energy company has designed a motor line to manufacture its own proprietary motor. Interestingly this is a first in its category. The factory, when inaugurated, will also become one of the safest manufacturing units in the country.
More Products In The Lineup
With this move, Simple Energy is officially moving from planning to execution and thus from prototype to production. The efforts are pretty visible as well, and the bigger picture is now taking shape into a larger vision, Simple Vision 1.0. With better engineering on Simple One and rigorous R&D, the EV maker expects to bring in the best quality electric vehicles that will make the switch to green mobility faster and smoother.

Simple Vision 1.0 is set up keeping in mind the customer sentiments and acceptance towards electric vehicles. Built with the intent of manufacturing electric vehicles locally, the factory will also provide job opportunities to 700+ workers in and around Hosur. With more products in the pipeline, Simple Energy’s main focus is on R&D. The EV maker aims to come out at the forefront of the ongoing global transition to green mobility.
