Rumour! Yamaha Aerox 155 could get India-specific suspension setup

Written by Nizam Shaikh

Yamaha could be planning to upgrade the Yamaha Aerox 155 with a new suspension setup specifically-designed for the Indian market. Rumours are that the brand is currently testing the Yamaha Aerox 155 by inviting a few Yamaha Aerox 155 owners. These owners are currently testing the newly-developed suspension over rough and bumpy terrain.

The feedback from these customers will enable the brand to further tune the new suspension, which will be apt for the Indian terrain. The new suspension setup will then be sent to Yamaha’s Japan Headquarters for approval and later sold in India as an accessory. Rumours also suggest that the brand will be offering the new suspension as standard on the Aerox V2. The brand is likely to make changes limited to the suspension. Other mechanicals such as the chassis, engine and brakes are expected to remain the same.
