The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 was first showcased at this year’s EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. For the Indian unveiling, the company had the bike displayed at the ongoing Rider Mania event in Goa. Pre-bookings for the participants of Rider Mania have commenced, and it is reported that the general public will be able to book at the official launch in January 2023. Deliveries are set to begin in February 2023.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

The Super Meteor 650 carries forward Royal Enfield’s legacy of cruiser bikes. The highway cruiser uses the 648cc twin platform. This has been rigorously tested and enjoyed worldwide recognition. The multi-award-winning Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 are a testimony of the same. The Super Meteor 650 gets the silhouette of a purebred cruiser with a low stance. The motorcycle gets a great seat with a narrow waist which combines to make munching miles a cakewalk.

In terms of specifications, Super Meteor 650 puts out 47 PS of power @ 7250 RPM and 52.3 Nm of torque @ 5650 RPM. The gearbox paired with the engine is a 6-speed unit.

Royal Enfield is using a new tubular steel chassis with a typical feet-forward cruiser riding posture for the Super Meteor. The low seat and pulled-back handlebar give a typical cruiser riding stance. The Super Meteor 650 uses 43mm USD front forks with 120mm of travel. Meanwhile, for the rear, we get twin shock absorbers that offer 101mm of travel.

Colour options on the Super Meteor 650

Royal Enfield is offering the bike in two variants – the Super Meteor 650 and Super Meteor 650 Tourer. Customers will have seven striking colours to choose from. The Super Meteor 650 variant is available in five colours. These are Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. On the other hand, the Super Meteor 650 Tourer is available in two paint schemes. These are Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.
