To mark the 120th anniversary of the brand, Royal has unveiled two new helmet series. Names ”The Picnic Special” and ”Birth of the Bullet”, these are limited edition helmets of which only 120 units of each go on sale. Previously Royal Enfield had unveiled the ”The Original Royal Enfield” and ”The V Twin”, which went sold out on the day of its launch. Now, these two helmet series, i.e., ”The Picnic Special” and ”Birth of the Bullet”, are on sale for 30th and 31st October. These helmets are a tribute to the brand’sbrand’s twelve decades of rich history and motorcycling tradition. Both the helmets get ISI, DOT and ECE certification, thus ensuring the highest safety standard.
The Picnic Special
This helmet series draws its inspiration from the 1920s. This was the time of war, and Royal Enfield was a mere two-model programme. Picnic Special is a full-face helmet that comes with a breath deflector, neck curtain and D ring for higher safety. For the rider’srider’s convenience, the Royal Enfield has also equipped the helmet with improved ventilation and rear exhaust hot air remover. The use of Polygiene Antimicrobial treated internals and has sustainable technology, which requires less washing and conserves water.
Other features include Sun Visor with operation switch at the exterior and Main visor with Anti-fog film. Royal Enfield has put on a sticker price of INR 8,450 for this series. This helmet goes on sale from 30th October at 12 PM exclusively at store.royalenfield.com
Birth Of The Bullet
The helmets reflect upon the golden era of Royal Enfield Motorcycle development. Birth Of The Bullet is an open-faced helmet that gets the necessary ISI, DOT and ECE certification. Other features include a face-covering bubble visor, Premium Leather with Polygiene treated fabric internals and hand-stitched leather trims at shell beading. The helmet’s outer shell uses lightweight fibreglass material and has a UV coating on bubble visors. This helmet goes on sale on 31st October at a price of INR 6,950 exclusively at store.royalenfield.com.
