Royal Enfield allows customers to design Interceptor INT 650 & Continental GT 650

Royal Enfield has launched a first-of-its-kind motorcycle personalization service Royal Enfield Make-It-Yours – MiY. Through the new MiY configurator Royal Enfield customers will now be able to personalize and accessorize their motorcycles, at the time of purchase, customizing their ride right from the beginning. MiY is an App-based 3-D Configurator, that allows access to thousands of conceivable combinations in personalization options such as colour, graphics, trims as well as genuine accessories. The customer can not only place the booking via the App they can also view the delivery timeline of the motorcycle. 

The brand has also announced that, in its first phase, Royal Enfield’s flagship motorcycles the 650 Twins will make their debut on the MIY and the 3-D Configurator solution. With MiY, customers will benefit from the factory-tested, genuine motorcycle accessories backed by a two-year warranty. MiY with the 3-D Configurator will be rolled on the Royal Enfield App, on both the Android Playstore and Apple Appstore along with the company’s official website and through the brand’s 320 stores across the country.

Last month, Royal Enfield also launched the Royal Enfield App, that enables customers to digitally book their motorcycle as well as place service requests, through the Royal Enfield App. The MiY and the 3D configurator enhances the Royal Enfield App’s digital experience. Royal Enfield customers will now also be able to opt for extended warranty and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) packages as well. In the following stages, Royal Enfield will, in a phased manner, integrate the entire Royal Enfield portfolio to the new configurator making personalization available for customers.

Recently, Royal Enfield also announced that the company has registered sales of  60,041 motorcycles in the month of September 2020, against the sales of  59,500 motorcycles for the same month last year, showing 1% growth. The brand posted 2,07,788 units in 2020-21 as against 3,50,298 units in 2019-20 year-to-date, showing a negative 41%.
