Renault has launched the All Wheel Drive (AWD) version of the Duster in India at prices starting from Rs. 11.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

  • Duster RxZ AWD: Rs. 12.99 lakh

Powering the Renault Duster AWD is the 1.5L dCI diesel CRDi engine pumping 110 PS @ 4,000 RPM and 245 Nm @ 1,750 RPM mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Fuel effiiciency is rated at 19.72 kmpl with a new eco mode.

Cosmetic changes on the Duster AWD versions include smoked grey alloy wheels, smoked out headlamps, matte black B-pillars and AWD and 4×4 badge. On the inside, you get a new 3-barrel instrument cluster, three spoke steering wheel, dual tone grey and red seat upholstery, soft touch plastic on the dashboard top section and black and grey dashboard colour scheme.

Mechanical changes begin with the AWD system with three modes such as 2WD, auto and four-wheel lock; which can be shifted on fly. It also gets an all-wheel independent multi-link suspension at the front and electronic torque control system. Additional safety features on the AWD version include Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Anti-Skid resistance (ASR) and Hill Start Assist apart from ABS, EBD and dual airbags.

Renault is also offering the Complete Care service under which the car gets a 2+2 year / 80,000 km warranty, labour free service at 2,000, 10,000 and 20,000 km along with 24*7 roadside assistance. Technicians for the Duster AWD have been specially trained at the Renault facility in France.
