Renault Kiger and Kwid special deliveries on Mothers Day

Renault decided to celebrate Mother’s day in a very meaningful and heart-touching way. It delivered Kwid and Kiger to the female customers, in order to highlight the bond between a mother and daughter. Ms. Neeti Singh who is an Education Consultant, gifted her daughters a Renault Kiger on the occasion of Mothers day. The delivery was done through Renault Bhikaji Cama, Delhi. It is one of the leading car dealerships of Renault India in Delhi. A similar gesture took place in Jaipur where Mrs. Pathak surprised her mother-in-law, Mrs. Shashi Pathak with Renault Kwid from the Jaipur East dealership of Renault. Renault has recorded 850,000 satisfied customers all across India.

Renault Kiger

Renault offers the Kiger in India with a 1.0L turbo-petrol and a 1.0L energy naturally aspirated petrol engine option. Both engines are 999cc, 3-cylinder units. However, the 1.0L turbo is matched to a 5-speed manual or an X-Tronic CVT automatic while the 1.0L NA motor comes with either a 5-speed manual or Easy-R AMT gearbox. The 1.0L turbo petrol motor produces 100 PS of power @ 5000 RPM in both gearbox options but 152 Nm torque with the CVT and 160 Nm torque with the manual. The 1.0L base engine produces 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque with both transmission options.

Kiger’s adult occupant safety has been given a 4-star rating from Global NCAP. It is equipped with 4 airbags, 2 in the front and 2 at the sides. For basic safety measures, a seat belt with pretensioner and load-limiter is available. Kiger also has an impact sensing door unlock, speed sensing door lock, 60:40 split seat at the back with headrests that are adjustable and lastly, ISOFIX anchorage for child seat support.

Renault Kwid

Renault’s entry level hatchback, the Kwid is offered with a 1.0L naturally aspirated motor. This 999cc, 3-cylinder engine produces 68 PS of power & 91 Nm of torque matched to either a 5-speed manual or an Easy-R AMT gearbox.

The Renault Kwid entered the A-segment with features like having an SUV-like design, a ground clearance of 184mm and an economical cost of purchase that ranges from INR 4.6 lakh to INR 6.3 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. Kwid is now compliant with the current safety and emission norms. When it comes to safety, Kwid includes active and passive safety features like Dual Front Airbags, ABS and EBD, seat belt beeper, overspeed alert, reverse parking sensors, stability control, traction control, TPMS, etc.
