Porsche has announced the launch of a slew of new models across the 718, 911, and Taycan range in India. The 718 range is now available with the Cayman and Boxster Style Editions. Prices for this start at INR 1.44 crore and 1.48 crore, respectively (ex-showroom). For the 911 range, customers can now get the new Carrera T variant. This trim will retail with a price tag of INR 1.81 crore (ex-showroom). The Taycan range too gets a new model in the form of the GTS. This retails with a price tag of INR 1.95 crore (ex-showroom). 718 Cayman and Boxster Style Editions
The key highlight of the 718 Cayman and Boxster Style Editions are their paint options. The Cayman comes with an Arctic Grey with black accents. Meanwhile, the Boxster adorns a bright Ruby Star Neo shade with contrasting white details. There are contrasting colors in the form of decorative racing stripes on the bonnet and sides. We also get to see a new set of alloys for both models as well.
The Style Edition models also benefit from a leather package. It includes black leather upholstery and contrasting, chalk-colored stitching. On the door sill panels, meanwhile, we see the use of stainless steel. Both models now also get heated steering and seats, two-zone AC, and parking assistance.
Mechanical Highlights
Under the hood, the 718 Cayman and Boxster Style Editions continue with the same 300 HP, 380 Nm, 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Interestingly both are solely offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Both models go from 0-100kmph in 5.1 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed is rated at 275 kmph.
Features List
As for the features and equipment, both the 718 Boxster and Cayman Style Edition are pretty well equipped. Notable mentions are BiXenon main headlights with LED daytime running lights, ParkAssist front, and rear including a rearview camera, Apple® CarPlay, and cruise control. Both the models also benefit from automatically dimming exterior and interior mirrors including rain sensors, heated smooth leather multifunction steering wheel, heated seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
