Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) announced its entry into the passenger electric vehicle segment with the launch of OSM Stream. The Stream is also the company’s first electric three-wheeler. It will aim to leverage the growing demand for EVs in the market. Priced at INR 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom) after the government subsidy, OSM claims an innovative driving experience with the Stream. Electric 3-wheeler offer an emission-free, noiseless riding experience that is equally beneficial for the riders and also for the environment. In fact, most state governments are also incentivizing electric vehicles to boost their sales. The OSM electric passenger three-wheeler will provide an improved earning potential of 20-25 per cent. Thus, also ensuring greater savings.

OSM is a brand that aims to create sustainable mobility solutions with an integrated approach. The brand’s main focus is to create a clean ecosystem with eco-friendly, safe and congestion-free mobility. Hence, the launch of the Stream perfectly resonates with the brand’s aspirations.

Key Features

The three-wheeler makes 10 kW of power and 535 Nm of torque. OSM also claims this to be the highest in its class. In addition to this, the vehicle has a climb gradeability of 10.2 degrees. With a driving range of 110 km per charge, the driver can ensure additional trips in a day and thereby more earnings. The large cabin space and leg room will ensure the passengers’ comfort. The equipped battery pack is of Lithium-ion technology and is IP65-rated. The rating ensures protection from dust and water.

Stream also gets independent transmission with gear adding up to the torque. This makes pulling heavy loads and also the drive very comfortable and fatigue-free. Drivers can charge their vehicle through any 16A socket using the off-board portable charger. Ground clearance of 175mm makes driving the three-wheeler much easy in Indian road conditions. To make ownership easier, Anglian Omega Group has an in-house financing entity ‘Anglian Finvest’. Furthermore, Omega Seiki Mobility has also partnered with various banks and NBFCs.
