Ola Electric, an Indian electric mobility company, is set to bring its most affordable electric scooter, the Ola S1 Air, to the Indian market. The company has announced the purchase window for the e-scooter. It will open on July 28, thus creating excitement among potential buyers.

Pricing Details For Ola S1 Air

During the initial launch phase, Ola is offering a special introductory price of INR 1,09,999 for the S1 Air to existing Ola customers. This price is also applicable for those who have reserved the scooter early from July 28 to July 30. For other customers, the updated pricing is set at INR 1,19,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore) starting from July 31.

As the most budget-friendly variant in the S1 series, the Ola S1 Air comes with a smaller 3 kWh battery pack. This provides a decent range of 125 km on a single charge. The e-scooter comes equipped with a 6 BHP electric motor. It enables it to reach a top speed of 85 km/h, making it suitable for both city commuting and short inter-city trips.

Key Changes To Ola S1 Air

To cater to different riding preferences, Ola has made certain modifications to the S1 Air. It gets a conventional telescopic fork in the front and twin rear shock absorbers, contributing to a comfortable and smooth ride experience. The flat floorboard adds to the convenience of riders, offering ample legroom and ease of movement during stops and starts.

Features On Offer

One of the standout features of the Ola S1 Air is its 7-inch touchscreen instrument console that comes with smartphone connectivity. This advanced console allows riders to access a host of features and information.  The S1 Air comes with three ride modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. This adds to the flexibility to choose between maximising range or experiencing a more spirited ride with better performance.

Ola S1 Air aims to generate considerable interest among Indian consumers. Its affordable price point, combined with its range and performance capabilities, makes it an attractive option for both urban and suburban commuters.
