Shell has announced that it will be the official lubricant partner for the BMW Group starting from January 2015.
Including India, Shell will provide service fills for the BMW Group of cars in more than 140 countries. The brands included under this partnership are BMW, BMW i, BMW M, Mini and BMW Motorrad. All 3,500 dealerships spread across 140 countries will start using Shell lubricants in a couple of weeks time.
Shell lubricants will meet the BMW engine specifications and requirements by using the PurePlus technology.
Other companies using Shell as a lubricant partner in India include Hyundai, Maruti, Ford, Chevrolet and Nissan.
