Jeep has officially come up with a month-long Summer Camp. Here, all owners of Jeep vehicles will be benefiting with discounts and offers on their purchases of spare parts for their car, and services too. As the summer vacation time gives an all-time-high to Indians, Jeep has planned on conducting the activities during the peak of the summer season. As most people prefer road trips and long drives, Jeep seeks to ensure that the customers have a good time without having to worry about the functionality of the car.
The summer camp benefits can be availed at the nearest store/showroom of Jeep. Jeep has offered discounts and is providing offers on accessories, services, selected spare parts, AC disinfectant treatment, car care treatments and a promotion offer at INR 3,750 for petrol cars and INR 4,099 for diesel cars. The available offers includes 50% off on accessories, 10% off on selected parts, 40 point vehicle health check, 30% off on AC disinfection and 15% off on car care.
Jeep also came up with 2 limited editions of the Meridian SUV, namely, Meridian X and Meridian Upland. This 7-seater vehicle with collapsible last row of seats is available in 7 color options namely, Galaxy Blue, Velvet Red, Techno Metallic Green, Magnesio Gray, Pearl White, Minimal Gray and Silver moon. Jeep Meridian range starts at INR 32.95 lakh.
A 2.0L multijet engine that produces 170 hp at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1750-2500 rpm powers this SUV. The engine specs are the same for both cars (Meridian X and Upland). The transmission of the two differs, X has a 6MT and a 9AT whereas Upland only has a 9AT. Jeep meridian is equipped with all-wheel disc brakes.
Upland, as the name hints, is built for family touring. It is a car capable of being driven on harsh terrains and trails, uphill or downhill and even uneven sloped surfaces. This Meridian version is also offered with a tire inflator and a boot organizer. The Meridian X however, is more city friendly.
