Nissan has launched the Sunny facelift in India priced between Rs. 6.99 – Rs. 9.80 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

Exterior changes on the facelift model include a bigger front grille in chrome, redesigned front bumper, boomerang shaped headlamps, different fog lamp housing now with a chrome underline, chrome strip on the lower end of the front air dam, new 12-spoke alloy wheels, chrome strip on the window sills, roof antenna moved to the rear, slightly redesigned rear bumper with black diffuser cladding, chrome number plate garnish, turn indicators on ORVMs, and three new exterior colours – pearl white, deep grey and nightshade. Other paint options available include black, bronze grey and silver.

On the inside, the dashboard gets piano black centre console, new dual din audio system with Bluetooth and a 5.1″ display for the XV variants, reverse parking camera, new steering wheel, leather seats and rear reading lamps.

Mechanically, the Sunny facelift remains unchanged and continues with the same power plants. A 1.5L HR15 petrol engine and a 1.5L K9K diesel engine. Both the petrol and diesel variants will be available with a 5-speed manual transmission while the petrol also gets an Xtronic CVT automatic transmission. The Sunny petrol offers an ARAI approved fuel efficiency rating of 16.95 kmpl for the manual and 17.97 kmpl for the CVT. The diesel offers an improved fuel efficiency of 22.71 kmpl.
