Nissan India has joined hands with ExxonMobil which will supply lubricants for Nissan’s passenger cars. Starting from April 2021, ExxonMobil will supply a range of its engine oil to Nissan India that is compatible with India’s BS-VI standards and also be suitable with the older generation BS-III and BS-IV Nissan passenger vehicles. This partnership will aim to provide Nissan car owners with advanced lubricant technology that will result in optimal performance, reliability and also improve fuel efficiency to a great extent.
Products Under This Partnership
Nissan India confirmed that leveraging this new partnership will help to produce engine oils that meet the latest International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) and American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, and have features like emissions system compatibility, sludge and varnish protection, engine durability, deposit control, oxidation stability, wear protection for idle-stop and low-speed pre-ignition minimization. The new range of engine oils viz, Nissan Genuine Parts Motor Oil SAE 0W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30, 10W-40 includes both synthetic and semi-synthetic products will be made available. All the engine oils have undergone extensive research and development to deliver the most optimal engine performance in different conditions.
