A new bike from Hero MotoCorp has been spotted testing. The spy images reveal a few more details about the bike. It seems like a 125cc premium motorcycle that Hero plans to launch in the near future. This bike could rival the TVS Raider.
In terms of looks, the test bike appears to have a muscular design approach. Compared to the usual commuter segment bikes in the 125cc segment, the bike appears different. There is a certain heft to the motorcycle.
The target audience of the bike seems to be younger riders. There is a wide tank which merges into the seat. The seat gets a split-style design. There are shrouds on the tank as well.
There appears to be an LED headlight, tail light and LED indicators as well. The handlebar is a traditional single-piece unit. We can also make out a digital instrument cluster.
The test bike was spotted with telescopic front forks along with a rear mono shock. The bike was configured with alloy wheels.
While exact details are not yet available, the engine is likely to be meshed with a 5-speed gearbox.
Meanwhile, the braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back.
On June 14th, Hero MotoCorp officially unveiled the Xtreme 160R 4V in India, and bookings for the new model have now commenced. This updated variant brings several notable improvements compared to the two-valve version. One of the most significant differences lies in the engine configuration and power output. Both models are powered by a 163cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, but the latest version benefits from a four-valve setup, unlike the two-valve unit found in the 2022 model. As a result, the Xtreme 160R 4V delivers 16.6bhp of power and 14.4Nm of torque.
