For the 2024 model year, the Ducati Panigale V2 brings in an updated paint scheme. This is known as ‘Black on Black.’ This new design boasts completely black bodywork and wheels. The looks are further accentuated by red highlights on the wheel rims and the word ‘Panigale’ at the front of the fairing. The ‘Ducati’ text on the fuel tank matches perfectly with the red accents seen on the wheels and fairing. Additionally, the ‘V2’ label is also prominent. Displayed in large black lettering beneath the ‘Panigale’ text on the fairing, makes it look quite striking, a head turner for sure.
The standard ‘Ducati Red’ paint option retails at GBP 16,095. Meanwhile, the ‘Black on Black’ scheme incurs an additional cost of GBP 300. Thus, bringing the total price of the Ducati Panigale V2 in its new colours to GBP 17,095. This blacked-out aesthetic update serves as a minor refresh for Ducati’s mid-range super sports bike. This is currently leading the World Supersport Championship in the capable hands of Nicolo Bulega.
From a technical perspective, the motorcycle retains the same specifications as previous years. Thus, it delivers a maximum output of 155 HP and 104 Nm of torque. The equipped engine is a 955cc twin-cylinder Superquadro engine. The motorcycle also benefits from a slew of features. This includes various electronic features that aid in enhanced control. The notable ones include Ducati Traction Control Evo 2, Ducati Wheelie Control Evo, Ducati Quick Shift Evo 2 (two-way), and Engine Brake Control Evo. The braking system comes with ABS Cornering Evo. Other key features include a monocoque chassis, 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork, Sachs rear shock, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tires. All of these remain unchanged for the 2024 model.
