With absolutely no changes in the mechanicals or features, Yamaha has updated its R15 V4’s color with the addition of the Dark Knight paint scheme. The color scheme as the same suggests, comes with a sports matte black base paint with golden highlights. The same color scheme is available for Yamaha FZ-S FI too.
R15 V4 Engine Specifications
This Dark knight edition of R15 V4 is available for INR 1,81,900, which is cheaper than the racing blue color variant and intensity white color option. The engine and performance however remains the same. The R15 is available with a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine that delivers 18.4 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and produces 14.2 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. With features like traction control system and a quick shifter, the R15 V4 will continue to be the benchmark of entry level sportsbikes in India.
Exterior features include an aerodynamic design for body panels, Class D bi-functional headlight unit and LED position lights, LED tail lights, single exhaust end can, split seats, etc. The R15 V4 also promises comfort and safety through features like upside down front forks, dual channel ABS and a side stand engine cut-off function. The bike is also equipped with a pre-configured system for the Yamaha Y-connect app where notifications of the phone can be displayed on the dash. Phone calls, SMS or email notifications & connectivity status and phone battery levels can be seen on the instrument cluster screen.
