Triumph India continues to bring in the latest 2023 models from its international lineup to India. The latest one to hit the Indian market is the 2023 Bonneville Bobber, which Triumph calls its original custom icon. Triumph has launched the 2023 iteration of the Bobber in India at INR 12.05 lakh ex-showroom.
Like other models from Triumph’s Modern Classics range, the Bonneville Bobber received a Euro-5 compliant engine and a significant update in 2021. However, for 2023, Triumph is keeping the same mechanicals but adding a new colour option.

Triumph’s original custom icon, the Bonneville Bobber, comes in three colours for 2023. These are – Jet Black, Matt Storm Grey and Matt Ironstone and Red Hopper. The Red Hopper colour option is new for 2023 and gets a Red Hopper fuel tank, and a Jet Black finish for the side panels and mudguards.
The pricing for the 2023 Bonneville Bobber starts at INR 12.05 lakh ex-showroom for the Jet Black colour option. The new Red Hopper colour option comes with a sticker price of INR 12,18,000 ex-showroom. At the same time, the Matt Storm Grey with Matt Ironstone is the most expensive of the lot and retails for INR 12,35,000 ex-showroom.
2023 Triumph Bonneville Bobber – Highlights
The Bonneville Bobber continues to have a minimalistic look that is widely appreciated worldwide. The single-seater Bonneville Bobber has minimal steel fenders, a central ridge and return edge, wide and flat handlebars, sculpted top yoke, rubber gaiters, and more. The model blends retro styling with modern elements such as LED bullet turn signal indicators and the signature full-LED headlight with an LED DRL.
Apart from the new colour option, the 2023 model remains mechanically the same. Thus, the Bonneville Bobber continues using a 1200cc liquid-cooled 8-valve SOHC parallel twin engine. The 270-degree crank also gives it its signature sound. The motor makes 78 PS of peak power at 6,100 rpm. Meanwhile, a peak torque of 106 Nm arrives at 4,000 rpm. As for the transmission, it uses a 6-speed unit with a wet multi-plate, torque-assist clutch.
Suspension and brakes remain the same as in the previous model. In its 2021 update, Triumph added a 16-inch fat front wheel and new 47mm Showa cartridge-type forks. At the rear, the Bobber gets a monoshock with linkage. It rides on 16-inch 32-spoke wire spoke wheels in the front and back. Handling braking duties are pair of 310mm discs with Brembo 2-piston callipers at the front. At the same time, the rear gets a 255mm disc with a Nissin single-piston calliper.
The Bonneville Bobber has a wet weight of 251 kg. However, a low seat height of 690mm to 700mm makes it easy to plant your feet down. In its 2021 update, Triumph also added a bigger 12-litre fuel tank, which it claims gives it up to 33 per cent more range than before.
