MY23 Kia Seltos facelift revealed in India, bookings open on 14th July

Kia India has officially unveiled the MY23 Seltos facelift. The SUV now comes with a host of new features and bookings are expected to commence from 14 July 2023.

Kia Seltos facelift : What’s new?

The updated Seltos now comes with a larger bumper, new fog lamp inserts and updated headlamps. The headlamps are all-LED units with new DRLs that extend into the grille.

On the sides, Kia now offers larger 18-inch alloys, finished in a dual tone design. They are the same ones offered internationally. The rear too has been revamped for the facelift. The SUV now comes with sequential turn signals, dual tip exhaust and a lightbar that connects both the tail lamps.The bumper design too has been changed and now houses the reversing lamp.

Customers will now be able to choose from a new colour option – Pewter Olive. The Seltos will also offer slightly different designs on the GT Line and the X Line trims.

Updates on the insides

The 2023 Seltos now comes with dual 10.25-inch screens. One of them is an infotainment screen while the other is a driver display. Other changes include new HVAC controls, slim AC vents, and updated audio controls.

Customers will also get dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 8-inch head-up display amongst others. Music is played through the Bose 8-speaker system and the cabin gets mood lamps as well.

Safety features include ADAS functions along with 6 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC and Hill Assist.

Powertrain details of the 2023 Kia Seltos

Kia is offering three engine options. This includes a 1.5-litre NA petrol good for 115 HP and 144 Nm, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol rated at 160 HP and 253 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel good for 115 HP / 250 Nm. Transmission options include a CVT, 6-speed IMT, 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
