Kia India has released a new teaser video of the upcoming Kia Seltos. The SUV is scheduled for launch on 4 July 2023.

The short 20 second teaser video reveals some of the features of the car. This includes the new headlight and tail lamps, the interior and more. On the inside, we can also see the dual screens – one for the infotainment and one for the driver information.
2023 Kia Seltos : What to expect?
The SUV comes with a host of new exterior elements to give a refreshed look to the SUV. Major changes include a larger front grille, a rectangular lower grille and ADAS radar at the front. The LED headlights now house four elements instead of the outgoing car’s three. The fog lamp casing has been updated as well.
At the back, the SUV gets vertical LED lights along with an all-width LED light bar. The rear also gets triangular exhaust vents along with a skid plate.
Feature-set of the new Seltos will include a panoramic sunroof, radar-based ADAS tech and more. The ADAS suite could have forward collision detection / avoidance, blind spot detection, lane assist, driver attention assist and safe exit assist amongst others. The new Seltos will also have six airbags and a host of other safety features like hill-assist control and vehicle stability control as standard across the range.
Powertrain of the 2023 Kia Seltos GT Line
As the GT Line is positioned as the Sporty variant, this car could come with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor good for 160 PS and 253 Nm. It could be offered with 6 iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The same engine already does duty on the Kia Carens and the Hyundai Verna.
Other engines on the Seltos will include the 1.5-litre petrol engine rated at 115 HP along with the 1.5-litre diesel good for 116 HP.
