Maruti Suzuki is also likely to pack the new Baleno with more features than the outgoing model. This will help the upgraded model to compete with the new Hyundai i20.

Maruti Suzuki is likely to offer a new front fascia that is sharper than before. The brand is likely to offer a new grille that better integrates the headlamps. The headlights are likely to be sharper than before and still retail the sweptback design. The LED DRL light signature is likely to remain unchanged. The new Baleno is also likely to come with a reprofiled front and rear bumper. The taillights on the new car are also likely to get a mild refresh.
MY22 Maruti Suzuki Baleno – Interior Highlights
Reports suggest that the Maruti Suzuki Baleno will come with new interiors. The dashboard is likely to be similar to the new S-Cross that recently made its debut in the international market. This leads us to believe that the brand is likely to offer a 9-inch touchscreen system. Maruti Suzuki is also likely to offer touchscreen infotainment with connected car technologies. The new Baleno is also likely to come with wireless smartphone integration and more. In addition to this, the brand is also likely to offer keyless-entry-and-go, automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlamps etc.
MY22 Maruti Suzuki Baleno – Engine Specifications
Powering the Baleno is likely to be the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 83 Hp of power. The brand also offers a 1.2-litre 12V mild-hybrid that produces 90 Hp of power. The brand is not likely to offer a strong hybrid engine during this upgrade.
Maruti Suzuki is likely to introduce the new Baleno in February 2022.
