MY22 KTM & Husqvarna motorcycles to get new colours

Written by Rohit Tonapi

KTM’s Duke range consists of some of India’s most popular performance bikes. Launched initially with a 200cc engine, the range now consists of the 125 Duke, 200 Duke, 250 Duke and the 390 Duke. Over the years, the models have gotten a whole bunch of updates and new colours as well. But now, it has been a while since KTM added some new colour options. Hence, to give the Duke range a new look, KTM will be giving them new colour options.

A leaked internal document shows the new colour options. In addition to this, sources also suggest it won’t be just the KTM to get new colour options. The brand will also be giving the Husqvarna Svartpilen a new colour option. The new range of colour options will debut next month. Thus, it won’t be a long wait.

KTM Duke Range – New Colour Options

KTM will bring one new colour option for the 125, 200 and 250 Duke. Meanwhile, the 390 Duke will get two brand new colour options.

KTM 125 Duke

The entry-level KTM Duke will come with a new white/orange/blue colour option coupled with a black frame and white subframe. The 125 Duke will carry over the Electric Orange colour option from the current version. However, KTM will discontinue the White colour option.

KTM 200 Duke

The 200 Duke will get a new grey colour with blue/white/orange accents. Meanwhile, the frame and the subframe will be black in colour. Like the 125 Duke, the 200 Duke will continue to come with the Electric Orange colour option, but KTM will discontinue the Ceramic White colour option.

KTM 250 Duke

The 250 Duke will get what is perhaps the most subtle colour option from KTM. The new colour option gets a grey and black base colour with a few orange accents. This colour option also gets an orange front fender and orange headlight shrouds. Meanwhile, the frame and subframe combination will be black and orange. The Dark Galvano colour option will continue to be on sale, while the silver option will no longer be available.

KTM 390 Duke

The 390 Duke will get the biggest update of the Duke range. It will come with two brand new colour options. The Dark Galvano colour option, which will be discontinued in the 250 Duke, will now be available with the 390 Duke. The other colour option is known as Liquid Metal. It gets an orange base with a few blue and black accents. Both colour options will come with a black subframe and an orange frame.

This will also be the first time that the 390 Duke will not be available with orange-coloured wheels with any available colour options.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 250

Last but not least, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 will also get a new colour option. Husqvarna will replace the current one with a new black/blue/beige colour option.
