Italian two-wheeler brand Moto Morini is planning to make its debut in the Indian market. The company has partnered with Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), which is also the India representative of Benelli and Keeway motorcycle brands in the country. The partner will manufacture and distribute Moto Morini motorcycles in the Indian market. However, the launch timeline for the Retro Street bike and the new Scrambler has not yet been revealed. But we believe that the company could be planning to launch the bike around this year’s festive season.
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6 ½ – Retro Street and Scrambler
Moto Morini reveals that the Seiemmezzo ½ is a motorcycle for both daily commutes as well as day trips. The brand claims that the Seiemmezzo ½ is both easy to ride as well as stable. In addition to this, Moto Morini has revealed that two versions of the Seiemmezzo ½ will be introduced in the Indian market. A classic retro street as well as a scrambler.
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo ½ – Technical Specifications
Powering the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo ½ is a 649cc in-line twin-cylinder four-stroke eight-valve engine. The liquid-cooled engine with an electronic fuel injection system from Bosch is capable of producing 55 Hp of power and 54 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission. The brand claims that the powertrain is grunty enough for city traffic as well as powerful enough for the weekend.
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo ½ also comes with an advanced 20Cr-Mo Steel frame. The frame looks like fish scales under a microscope and helps provide rigidity and stability to the motorcycle. Furthermore, the bike rides on KYB suspension, 43mm upside-down forks with 120mm travel, an adjustable monoshock with 118mm travel, Brembo brakes, Pirelli tyres and Bosch dual-channel ABS. The bike also gets 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels on the Street, and rugged spoke wheels on the Scrambler model.
Moto Morini also plans to launch the X-Cape 650 and X-Cape 650 X in the touring and adventure segment.
