Premium car manufacturer Mini has launched the new Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition at the price of INR 44.90 lakh ex-showroom. The new Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition is available for booking on Amazon.in from 15th of February 2020 onwards. Only 15 examples of the Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition will be made available for sale in India.
The new Limited Edition car comes in a Red metallic exterior paint with redesigned rounded LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, bumper integrated fog lights, a redesigned blacked-out hexagonal mesh grille with a chrome strip running across, air intake vent on the bonnet, aero ducts that flank the bumper, piano black roof, black ORVM housings and multispoke 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels. The rear of the car features LED taillights and as a tribute to its heritage, incorporates a Union Jack design.
On the inside, the Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition features Carbon Black interior, electrically adjustable sports seats for the driver and passenger finished in Carbon Black Leatherette upholstery, centrally mounted 6.5-inch colour display surrounded by an LED ring, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, panoramic glass roof, ambient lights, etc. The Mini Clubman comes with a unique 6-door layout that has a split type side-opening tailgate with an easy-open function that allows hands-free access by waving your foot under the boot. The boot comes with 360-litres of space expandable up to 1250-litres.
The Clubman is powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 192 hp of power and 280 Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch Steptronic transmission with Mini Driving Modes – Green and Sport. The transmission is equipped with an electronic gear selector-lever for faster gear shifts. The Mini Clubman can sprint from 0-100 kmph in a claimed 7.2 seconds, can achieve a top speed of 228 kmph and claims to return a fuel economy of 13.78 km/litre.
In terms of safety, the Mini Clubman comes with driver and passenger airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Dynamic Stability Control, Crash Sensor, Cornering Brake Control, Brake Assist and Run-flat Indicator.
