Mercedes-Benz has revealed a special E-Class ‘Night Edition’ for the international market. Customers having a soft corner for black shade will absolutely love this trim. The model gets high-quality equipment and exclusive black design elements, thus enhancing the overall outlook of the vehicle. The German carmaker confirmed that the sales of Coupé and Cabriolet start immediately, with the Saloon and Estate following from 17 May. For the European market, E-Class’ Night Edition’ will arrive at the dealers in July 2022. The E-Class has been the best selling model series in the history of Mercedes-Benz. And now, with this ‘Night Edition’, E-Class gets a new identity with the same core values.
What Is The ‘Night Edition’?
The Night Edition is an amalgamation of AMG Line and Night Package. Customers can combine the Night Edition with all body variants, engines (except AMG models), and Mercedes-Benz paint finishes. Highlighting features include the diamond grille with pins in black and the “Night Edition” badge on the wing. In addition to this, trim also gets black exhaust tailpipe trim elements and AMG light-alloy wheels in high-gloss black. Customers opting for the Saloon and Estate will also get a high-gloss black finish on the boot lid trim.
There’s more of this ‘Night Edition’ in the interiors as well. The AMG Line interior with black roof-liner complements the exterior profile perfectly. The instrument panel gets ARTICO artificial leather finish with exquisite stitching. Upholstery in ARTICO artificial leather/DINAMICA microfibre is also a standard fitment. Customers looking for more premium options can opt for Leather and Nappa leather upholstery variants. The centre console is finished in open-pore black ash wood combined with dark aluminium/metallic treatment, making the interiors quite up class. To remind occupants of its exclusiveness, it also gets a ‘Night Edition’ badge on the centre console. Illuminated door sill panels with the brand’s lettering and floor mats with ‘Night Edition’ embroidery further add to the beauty.
