Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara design and interiors

The e-Vitara adopts a rugged yet modern design philosophy, featuring sporty LED headlamps, a sculpted bonnet, and a bold bumper. The side profile is accentuated by thick cladding on the fenders, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and rear door handles integrated into the C-pillar. At the rear, sleek LED tail lamps mirror the headlamp design, while a roof-mounted spoiler adds a dynamic touch.

Inside, the e-Vitara boasts a premium cabin with dual-tone interiors, a floating center console, and ambient lighting. Key features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch multi-information display, ventilated seats, and a wireless charger. The SUV also offers advanced safety features such as seven airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and a 360-degree camera.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara battery, range and other features

The e-Vitara will be available with two battery pack options: a 49 kWh unit offering a range of 375 km and a 61 kWh unit with a claimed range of 500 km. The base variant will feature a front-axle-mounted electric motor generating 172 bhp and 192.5 Nm of torque. The top variant will include an AWD system with the AllGrip-e technology, delivering 181 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.

Maruti Suzuki has equipped the e-Vitara with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. The SUV also offers multiple drive modes, including Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow, catering to diverse driving conditions.

Launch and pricing

The e-Vitara is expected to launch in May 2025, with prices ranging from INR 17 lakh to INR 30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with rivals like the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV, aiming to carve out a niche in the premium electric SUV segment.
