Mahindra & Mahindra has announced its sales performance for June 2021. The company sold 32,964 vehicles in June 2021, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and exports. In the utility vehicle segment, Mahindra sold a total of 16,636 cars for the given period. When compared to June 2020 sales figure, which stood at 7,958 units, thus the utility segment saw a growth rate of 109 per cent. The passenger vehicle segment saw a total sales of 16,913 units. This figure is up from 8,075 units sold in June 2020, thus resulting in a growth of 109 per cent. And in the international market, Mahindra and Mahindra exported a total of 2,607 units this month.
Mahindra Farm Sector Sales Report
The Farm Equipment Sector of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. sold 46,875 units in the domestic market. This figure for the same period last year stood at 35,844 units. The tractor sales, inclusive of domestic and export, stood at 48,222 units compared to 36,544 units for June 2020. Mahindra mentioned that their Farm Equipment Sector exported a total of 1,347 units for June 2021. The sharp fall in the Covid-19 cases and the easing of restrictions are opening up the market. Along with this, Mahindra mentioned that factors like the arrival of timely monsoon, increase in MSP rates for Kharif crops have further pushed the sales of tractors.

Mahindra has released a teaser of the much-awaited XUV700. The teaser confirms that the XUV700 will get the ‘Largest-In-Segment’ sunroof, and Mahindra is calling it a Sky Roof to emphasize the size. Indians have a great love for sunroofs, and Mahindra pretty much knows this. Along with this, XUV700 will also get Auto Booster headlamps. This feature automatically switches on an extra set of light beams when the car goes past 80 kmph. The launch of the SUV is expected to happen later this month.
