Mahindra Auto sold 46,804 vehicles in January 2022

Mahindra Auto announces its sales report for January 2022. The automotive maker reported a total sales of 48,804 units for the given period. This translates to a growth of 20 per cent when compared to January 2021. In terms of the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold a total of 19,848 units for January 2022. Meanwhile for passenger vehicle segment, which comprises of UVs, Cars, and Vans, sold a total of 19,964 units. The export figure for the month of January 2022, stood at 2,861 units.

Mahindra has a stronghold in the commercial segment. The automotive maker registered a total sales of 21,111 units for January 2022. This translates to a growth of 58 per cent. Mahindra mentioned that all the Light Commercial Vehicle Segments of <2T, Pickups (2T to 3.5T), >3.5T and the heavy commercial vehicles continued their growth trajectory in January 2022.

Mahindra’s Commitment To Serve The Best

Mahindra continues to dominate the commercial vehicle segment. In this, all segments ended the month with an overall impressive growth of 58 per cent. The automaker’s ‘Highest Mileage or Give Truck Back’ initiative is helping to attract significant customers. This initiative aimed towards the HCV, ICV and LCV truck range has received a significant response. The supply chain challenges are still prevalent, and to further worsen the production is the sporadic supply of semiconductor chips. But, Mahindra mentioned that they are fully committed to serving their best.

Mahindra XUV700 In Much Demand

There’s no one denying the fact that Mahindra’s XUV700 was the most talked-about launch for 2021 in the passenger vehicle segment. The demand is so high that the waiting period has reached 84 weeks in some regions. Keeping this in mind, Mahindra has confirmed that they are fully committed to delivering the first 14,000 units of XUV700 by January 2022. As of now, the SUV has registered a total of 1,00,000 bookings since its launch. Mahindra will keep a close eye on the supply of semiconductors chips and alter its plans as and when required.
