Mahindra has announced that it will hike prices across the passenger and commercial vehicle segment by about 1%.
This revision will result in car prices going higher by Rs. 2,300 up to Rs. 11,500 (ex-showroom). The change in prices is effective immediately and other manufacturers are also expected to follow the price hike route soon.
The price hike comes as a reason of increasing input costs which was not sustainable anymore. The company tried to hold on to the current pricing but it is not feasible anymore.
