Great news for the customers looking for getting a full-blown black Lexus LC Coupe. Called the Black Inspiration variant, this trim has been unveiled for the UK market. With the entire chrome delete, the sedan looks quite scintillating. The exterior gets a Graphite Black paint shade. The 21-inch five-spoke alloys perfectly resonate with the exterior, thus uplighting the outlook of the car. Along with this, the spindle grille, the door mirror casings, the headlight and taillight cluster also get black finishes.
The bookings for the LC Coupe Black Inspiration will start from November 1st. This is the UK only trim, and hence we don’t expect Lexus to launch it in other markets. Full black edition cars are not a new thing in the automotive market. We have seen special editions like these even in our Indian domestic market. The most recent one is Tata Motor’s Dark Edition lineup of cars. Full black cars do look a lot more gorgeous and appeal to a large section of customers. With this edition as well, Lexus will aim to attract a healthy number of customers.
Engine And Mechanicals
Lexus LC Coupe gets two engine options. First is the naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 LC500 power unit, which makes 464 HP. And the second option comes in the form of the 3.5-litre V6 power unit with electrical assistance. The power output figure of this hybrid engine is 353 HP. To enhance the driving dynamics, Lexus is taking the help of a Torsen limited-slip diff. Furthermore, the sedan also gets dynamic rear steering and variable gear ratio steering.
Interiors And Features
The sedan gets 10-way power-adjustable front seats with fine-quality semi-aniline leather that adds to the premium touch. Other key features include a 13-speaker Mark Levinson premium surround sound system, a head-up display, heated steering wheel, smart entry, front seat heating and ventilation, adaptive variable suspension, safety features provided by the Lexus Safety System+ suite and a card key. On top of this, the coupe also gets the LC Sports Plus Pack.
