BMW India announces the launch of 5 Series ‘Carbon Edition’. Carrying forward the legacy of the 5 Series nameplate in India, this special edition will aim to boost the sales figure further. This will enhance the outlook of the already great looking 5 Series sedan.

Customers planning to buy one would have to pay out INR 66,30,000 (ex-showroom) and more, including the taxes. BMW 5 Series has always been one of the top choices for customers looking for a sporty yet practical luxury sedan. Interested customers wanting to avail of financial aid in purchasing this sedan can ake benefit from BMW India Financial Services. From the side, onlookers will appreciate the 18-inch Jet Black alloys, which perfectly complements the overall character of the sedan. In the rear, BMW has added a subtle carbon fibre spoiler. In terms of exterior colour options, BMW is offering the edition in an exclusive Alpine White paintwork. The interiors make use of perforated Sensatec trim in Cognac and Black colour combination with contrast stitching. There are no changes in the equipment list and in the mechanical department.

With no changes in this department, BMW will continue with the 2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The performance figure of this motor stands at 252 HP and 350 Nm, which is enough to propel the car from standstill to 100 kmph in under 6.1 seconds. The equipped gearbox is an eight-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission that is well known for fast and smooth shifts.
