The SAR Group’s e-mobility division, Lectrix EV, unveiled the NDuro, their newest electric scooter, at a price of Rs 59,999. The NDuro electric scooter is made to satisfy the needs of both explorers and city dwellers and has a boot capacity of 42 litres.
“NDuro is a reflection of our dedication to sustainability and innovation. Offering the ideal blend of performance, elegance, and pleasure, it’s a daring step toward the future of mobility,” SAR Group founder Rakesh Malhotra remarked.
NDuro powertrain:
A 2.3 kWh battery with a range of 90 km (IDC) and a 3.0 kWh battery with a range of 117 km (IDC) are the two available battery alternatives. It has a top speed of 65 km/h, and an acceleration time of under 5.1 seconds from 0 to 40 km/h.
NDuro Features:
It has features like an efficiency bar, hill hold, ride analytics, theft alerts, SOS for emergencies, and live location monitoring. Lectrix has launched the NDuro as a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model with a nominal battery subscription in an effort to increase affordability. Customers can lease batteries with this option, which lowers the scooter’s initial cost by over 40%. Additionally, users can change their batteries at certain locations, which guarantees less downtime and gets rid of range concerns.
With more than 200 dealer partners and service facilities spread across more than 120 locations, Lectrix boasts a robust network. NDuro will also be offered on Flipkart with convenient EMI options. As part of its BaaS effort, the company has already installed 10,000 batteries. In India, it runs 30,000 three-wheelers and 15,000 scooters. According to Kislay Pankaj, CTO of Lectrix EV, “NDuro is designed to surpass customer expectations, setting benchmarks in the EV market.” Lectrix EV has invested Rs 300 crore since its founding in 2020 and has reduced CO2 emissions by more than 6.6 million kg.
