Komaki has launched the Flora electric scooter in the Indian market. The price is set at INR 78,999. Komaki says that the Flora is ready to give direct competition to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
Komaki is one of the fastest growing electric manufacturers in the country. Within three and a half years of existence, the company has established a strong network of over 300 dealerships. Komaki currently has 10 CMVR exempt models and 8 vehicles that require RTO registration.
Design of the Komaki Flora
The Flora is built on a resistant steel chassis. At the front, the bike gets a circular LED headlamp, pentagonal rear view mirrors, a small grille with vertical slats and slim indicators. The front footboard is flat.
The scooter gets a contoured seat with a back rest for the rear pillion. The sides also get a chrome stripe and flush sitting foot pegs. The Flora also gets a silver grab handle.
Flora is loaded with a slew of features like a vibrant dashboard with a self-diagnostic meter, additional backrest, parking and cruise control, as well as a comfortable seat with boot space.
In terms of colours, Komaki is offering the Flora in a choice of five colours – jet black, garnet red, steel grey, and sacramento green.
Powertrain of the Komaki Flora
The Komaki Flora is equipped with an ultra-modern heat-proof Lithium Ion Ferro Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. It is paired with a 3,000W electric motor that can give a range of 85-100 km on a single charge. The battery is detachable and compact, making it convenient to take it home for charging. It takes 4-5 hours for a full charge using a regular power outlet.
In terms of safety, the scooter gets a 270 mm disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back.
