Kia has officially revealed the Carens MPV in sketches. The brand has also announced that the new MPV will be fully unveiled in a world premiere on 16th December 2021. The highly-anticipated MPV features a contemporary exterior design, smart features on the inside and generous space for its occupants. The brand claims that the new Kia Carens also offers lavish space even for the third-row occupants. According to Kia, the new Carens will also create a new class of recreational vehicles in India. The company boasts that the Kia Carens has been designed to offer the “unmet needs of modern Indian families.”
Kia Carens – Design Highlights
The Kia Carens MPV brings the company’s new design philosophy of ‘Opposites United’ to India. Kia boasts that the design language is based on five pillars – Bold for nature, Joy for reason, Power to progress, Technology for life, and Tension for serenity. According to the official sketches, the new Kia Carens will come with a bold front end. The Carens MPV features a futuristic fascia featuring an X-shaped design.
The brand offers a wide air intake on the front with a multi-layered look. The Carens also come with a headlight mounted to the bumpers and signature LED DRLs integrating with the bonnet shut line. The light signatures also mingle well with the side panels and the character line on the quarter panels.
The MPV comes with rounded muscular wheel arches on the front and rear, along with dual-tone alloy wheels. The Kia Carens also feature black-out A- and B-pillars, a chrome window line and a progressive roofline. On the rear, the Kia Carens MPV comes with Y-shaped light signatures and a bold KIA badge in the centre. The lower bumper also comes with a chiselled design introducing a sporty character to the MPV. The Kia Carens also offer a roof-integrated spoiler and roof rails.
Kia Carens – Interiors
On the inside, the Kia Carens MPV features a high-tech wraparound dashboard with a futuristic design. According to Kia, the Carens MPV will comes with a wide and luxurious cabin. The cabin will come with chrome garnish applied to the doors, and the centre console will be a 10.25-inch Audio Video Navigation Telematics (AVNT) system.
