Kawasaki’s Ninja 300 gets expensive in India

Kawasaki has revised the prices of its models, including in India. The current smallest supersport, the Ninja 300, now costs INR 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Thus, making it a good INR 3,000 more expensive than before. The new updated price doesn’t bring any cosmetic, mechanical, or feature updates. Therefore Ninja 300 remains exactly the same. We understand Kawasaki has revised the price as a result of the rising commodity costs. Not just Kawasaki but a host of other automakers have also opted for the same route of hiking prices.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 – Key Highlights

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a top choice amongst sporty motorcycle lovers in the country. Its characteristic sporty and youthful design with its twin headlights appeals to a wide range of audiences. Kawasaki has always got it right with the Ninja 300. The exquisite design also matches perfectly with the performance on offer. The motorcycle uses the same 296cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor with the performance figure rated at 38.88 bhp and 26.1 Nm. The equipped gearbox is a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper clutch.

The steel tube chassis of the Ninja 300 gets the support of conventional telescopic forks at the front and a link-type monoshock setup at the rear. Meanwhile, the braking hardware makes use of a front and rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. Fuel capacity for Ninja 300 measures 17 litres, which is enough for occasional weekend rides. On the feature front, the Ninja 300 also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster. Kawasaki offers the Ninja 300 in three colours. These are Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony.

Priced at INR 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Kawasaki Ninja 300 carries a premium when compared to the other options in the segment. Talking of other options, we have the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310 and the new BMW G 310 RR.
