WardWizard, the manufacturer of ‘Joy e-bike’, has sold a total of 4,087 units in April 2022. This figure is 766 per cent more when compared to April 2022, thus indicating strong demand. It’s no secret that EVs are getting increasingly popular in the market. But Joy e-bike too iterated the fact that varied challenges related to the unavailability of raw materials are hampering their production. Thus, the EV is looking for alternative approaches to realise the demand and serve its customers. This rising demand has led Joy e-bike to add 40 more touchpoints in key states, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Key Highlights Of April 2022

For the financial year 2022, Joy e-bike registered a total sales of 30,761 units. Moreover, for March 2022, the sales figure stood at 5,020 units, thus marking the first time to clock over 5,000 sales in a month. The company also showcased its range of electric two-wheelers at the Electric Vehicle Exposition 2022 in Kolkata and Alternate Fuel Conclave in Pune.

The Demand Running High For Joy E-Bikes

With fuel prices getting high, customers are welcoming any other possible alternative at their hands. This is where electric vehicles are getting the major push. In addition to this, the central government is also in favour of the sales of EVs in the country. Various subsidies and initiatives make owning an EV so much more affordable and exciting.

Furthermore, customers too are getting a plethora of options to choose from. Joy E-Bike, along with a host of other EV makers, are increasingly adding new products to their portfolio. Each day we are bombarded with EV launch news in the Indian market. This is a good indicator that the market is moving quite fast and encouraging mass electric adoption. We expect this growth trend to continue for a while now and hope more customers join the EV movement that will help curtail the carbon footprint.
