JAWA spol. s r.o. and RVM Argentina have introduced the new Jawa RWM 500 adventure motorcycle in the international market. It is important to note that JAWA RWM and Classic Legends Jawa are two different motorcycle manufacturers. It is instead under licence from the original Czech manufacturer Jawa Motorcycles. The company, along with RWM in Argentina, also has partnerships in the Philippines with Bristol Motorcycles.

Jawa RWM 500 – Engine Specifications

Powering the Jawa RWM 500 is a 471cc 4-stroke, water-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine. The engine produces 47 Hp of power and 43 Nm of torque. The Honda CB500X adventure motorcycle also comes with a liquid-cooled engine of the same displacement and pump out a similar output. This leads us to believe that the brand could be borrowing the Honda CB500X engine for the RWM500.

Jawa RWM 500 – Dimensions

The Jawa RWM 500 comes with a 1479mm wheelbase. To put things into perspective, the Benelli TRK502 comes with a wheelbase of 1505 mm, and the Honda CB500X comes with a 1443 mm wheelbase. The Jawa RWM500 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke-wire rims. The motorcycle comes with an 820mm saddle height and a fuel tank capacity of 20-litres. The RWM500 tips the scales at 206 kg Dry.

Jawa RWM 500 – Design Highlights

The Jawa RWM 500 appears inspired by prominent German adventure motorcycle designs. The motorcycle rings all the bells that are required in the adventouring segment. The RWM500 comes with a beak on the front, a single headlamp, and a tall windscreen. The bike comes with a chiselled tank and tank extensions. The RWM500 also offers ergonomic seating with mid-set footpegs and an upright handlebar to aid the saddle riding. The bike also comes with a sleek tail section and a tail rack integrated into the pillion grabrail.

Jawa RWM 500 – Will it come to India?

The brand is currently targeting the Argentinian market with its products, and it is highly unlikely that the brand will bring its products to India anytime soon.
