The Perak which is a boober-style motorcycle from the brand slated to commence deliveries from 2nd of April has also been put on hold at the moment and will recommence as soon as health situations normalise.

The Jawa motorcycles have a huge fan following and people still have maintained some immaculate examples of the original pre-1971 Jawa motorcycles. For those who do not have a time machine to go back to the 60s, Classic Legends offers the same timeless machines with modern-day engines and easy to maintain & source spare parts.

Classic Legends in India sells the Jawa Classic also known simply as ‘Jawa’ available in classic retro styling with shiny chrome all around, chrome teardrop tank, chrome mirrors, chrome low-slung dual exhaust pipes, etc. The Jawa Forty-two which is based on the same bike come in neo-retro styling with less use of chrome but has a classic silhouette with a modern touch and features chopped-off fenders, black & silver treatment on the engine, an offset black counter-clockwise speedometer, black handlebars, bar-end mirrors in black etc.

In the engine department, both the Jawa and the Jawa Forty-Two are powered by the same BS6-compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with cross-port technology and electronic fuel injection that produces around 27 Bhp of power and 28 Nm of torque matched to a constant-mesh 6-speed gearbox.

The Perak on the other hand which is a bobber-styled motorcycle with single seating, a dark theme on its engine and cycle parts, chopped-off fenders and is powered by a  BS6 compliant 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor that produces 30 Bhp of power and 31 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox.
