Following the release of Jaguar’s first all-electric performance SUV, the ‘I-PACE’ has achieved global recognition and also has been the recipient of several accolades and international acclaim. After its launch in India at a starting price of INR 1.05 crore (ex-showroom Delhi), ‘Jaguar Land Rover India’ today has announced the opening of bookings for the new ‘Jaguar I-PACE Black’ in India.
Jaguar I-PACE Black: What is it?
With the standard I-PACE, ‘Jaguar’ offered its global customer base an EV with all-wheel drive performance, refinement, luxury and agility, coupled with outstanding real-world range and day-to-day usability. This new exclusive I-PACE Black now benefits from an enhanced specification that offers additional equipment as standard.
Jaguar I-PACE Black: Exterior Highlights
Some of the new design elements found on the ‘I-PACE Black’ include the ‘enhanced black pack’, which features a Gloss Black finish applied to the door mirror caps, the grille, grille surround, side window surrounds and rear badges. Along with the addition of a full panoramic sunroof, the 48.26-cm (19-inch) ‘Diamond Turned with Gloss Dark Grey contrast wheels.’ accentuate the clean and contemporary look of the electric SUV. The I-PACE Black is also available in a full range of exciting colours, including ‘Aruba’ and ‘Farallon Pearl black’ premium metallic paint options.
Jaguar I-PACE Black: Interior Highlights
Along with featuring brand new ebony leather sport seats and headliner, the I-PACE Black’s interior is also complemented by Gloss Black trim finishers and other standard features such as Matrix LED headlights, LED taillights, adaptive cruise control, an electric tailgate, Meridian sound system, 3D surround camera and a touchscreen interface for the AC controls.
Jaguar I-PACE Black: Powertrain and Charging
Powering the I-PACE is the same 90 kWh battery delivering 294 kW and 696 Nm of torque, it allows the I-PACE Black to achieve acceleration from 0-100 km/hr in just 4.8 seconds. Jaguar also offers a 100kW quick charger that can charge the car from 0 to 80 per cent in 40 minutes, along with a 7.4 kW AC wall charger that takes 10 hours to charge up to 80 per cent. From a full charge, the I-PACE provides a range of 470 kilometres (WLTP rated).
