Did you ever in your wildest dream imagine that a Tata Nano could be termed as a hot-hatch? Yes, that’s right. JA Motorsport has revealed a one-off, modified version of the Tata Nano at the 2014 Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai.
Powered by a 1.3L JPE engine, the ‘Super Nano’ as they like to call it, produces up to 230 BHP of power. That’s a might big number for a car this size. The power output is much higher than the new Mini Cooper S. Even higher than the upcoming Fiat Abarth 500.
This won’t be a regular modification available for sale, but will work as a brand builder for JA Motorsport.
The ‘Super Nano’ was seen wearing a full body kit with side skirts, smoked out headlamps and tail lamps, blackened B-pillar and shoulder line, multi-spoke gunmetal finished alloy wheels, roll cage, recaro seats etc.
Won’t it be fun to find this Nano smoke some super expensive German cars on the city streets?
