Indian Cheiftain Elite launched in India for INR 38 lakh

Indian Motorcycle have introduced a new variant of the Chieftain here in India, which will be a limited edition motorcycle. The Chieftain Elite has been brought to India at a price tag of INR 38 lakh ex-showroom, and it comes with a new exclusive paint scheme which takes 25 hours for hand painting.

Only 350 units of the Indian Chieftain Elite will be sold worldwide.

Powering the Chieftain Elite is a Thunderstroke 111, V-Twin engine which is 1,811 cc in size and produces 151 Nm of peak torque @ 3000 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. With a kerb weight of 388 kg, this is a super heavy motorcycle and shares other body components with the rest of the Indian Chieftain models.

Apart from the hand painted exclusive silver paint job, the Chieftain Elite also comes with a 200W audio system, Indian’s Ride Command infotainment system with bluetooth + navigation, leather seat upholstery & aluminium floor board.

The Chieftail Elite is roughly INR 6 lakh more in the price department compared to the standard Cheiftain.
