Hyundai India has silently launched new extended warranty options for its petrol-powered cars. The brand’s cars have had good aftersale support. Furthermore, the models were already available with an extended warranty of up to 5 years. With the introduction of the option to extend it to up to 7 years, it will give new car buyers an even more hassle-free ownership experience. Existing owners can also purchase the new extended warranty. However, it is important to note that owners can opt for the extended warranty only before the expiry of their existing warranty.
New Extended Warranty Options – Details & Pricing
The new extended warranty for the 6th and 7th year or up to 1,00,000 km is available separately for the following models – Eon, Santro, Grand i10, Xcent, Grand i10 Nios, Aura, Elite i20, i20 Active, i20, Verna, Venue, Creta and Alcazar. Prices start from INR 6,989 to INR 27,762.
Customers will also be able to opt for an extended warranty for the 5th, 6th and 7th year or up to 1,00,000 km. This is applicable across the entire Hyundai lineup. Prices for this option start from INR 9,521 to INR 37,820.
Customers can also avail extended warranty for the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th year or up to 1,00,000 km. This option is available for all the models except for the Eon. Depending on the model, the prices range from INR 15,154 to INR 46,530.
All the prices mentioned are excluding GST, which will be charged extra.

Hyundai recently unveiled the all-new Tucson SUV for the Indian market. The new SUV will be Hyundai’s flagship model in India. Bookings for the new Tucson are also now open. Prospective buyers can now book the vehicle online using the official Hyundai website. The booking amount for the Tucson is set at INR 50,000. The all-new Tucson will be available in two variants – Platinum & Signature. The Hyundai Tucson will feature a host of safety features, including ADAS. The Platinum variant will get 45+ safety features as standard. Meanwhile, the range-topping Signature variant will get 60+ safety features as standard.
