Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has released its sales statistics for August 2023. The company has reported robust domestic sales of 7,880 units. This marks a 1.43 per cent growth compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, HCIL’s export numbers for August 2023 amounted to 2,189 units, reflecting a modest decline of 7.09 per cent year-on-year.
Honda Cars India Ltd. Increasing Sales
Comparing these figures with the previous year, Honda Cars India Ltd. has showcased impressive growth. With domestic sales seeing an increase of 111 units or 1.43 per cent. Notably, there was a substantial month-on-month surge in sales, with August 2023 surpassing July 2023 by 3,016 units, signifying a remarkable growth of 62.01 per cent. In August 2022, Honda Cars India reported domestic sales of 7,769 units and exported 2,356 units, demonstrating growth in both categories for August 2023.
These sales figures underscore the strong demand for Honda cars in the Indian market. The festive demand has been robust and continues to gain momentum. The celebratory spirit, which commenced with Onam in Southern India, is set to extend to other markets as Honda approaches the peak of the festive season in the coming months. Honda is entering an exciting phase with the launch of the highly anticipated Honda Elevate on September 4th. Honda is confident that this addition to its lineup will become a cornerstone for Honda, much like its bestsellers, City and Amaze.
Honda Cars India Wide Range of Portfolio
