Honda has launched the Elevate SUV in India. The SUV comes in four trims – SV, V, VX and ZX. The prices for the Honda Elevate start from INR 10,99,900 and go all the way upto INR 15,99,900 for the top end automatic.

The Honda Elevate measures 4,312 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Honda maintains a gross vehicle weight of 1,700 kg for CVT variants and 1,650 kg for manual transmission variants across all trim levels. Honda Elevate will come in four trim levels – V, SV, VX, and ZX.
The Elevate SUV is based on the same platform as the Honda City. It will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Hyryder and VW Taigun. The SUV segment is where all the action is and Honda is looking to get a piece of this pie as well.
On the inside, the Elevate comes with beige upholstery in dual-tone design. It gets a simple dashboard with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment. This unit is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The driver gets a three-spoke multifunction steering, 7-inch digital instrument cluster as well.
While the Honda Elevate may lack some of the features offered by competitors. But it aims to make up for it with its commanding road presence and well-put-together interior layout. It comes equipped with Honda’s camera-based Sensing ADAS suite. This includes autonomous braking, lane warning, adaptive cruise control and more.
Powertrain of the Honda Elevate
The Honda Elevate will be offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor develops 119 BHP @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. The company is offering two gearbox options of the car – a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic.
The CVT is rated at 16.92 km/l while the manual will offer 15.31 km/l. Do note that these are ARAI certified figures under ideal conditions and not the real world mileage numbers.
