Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has released its May 2023 sales report. The carmaker sold a total of 4,660 units for the given period. Meanwhile, the export figure for HCIL stood at 587 units for May’23. For your reference, we have the 2022 sales figures. The company had registered 8,188 units in domestic sales and exported 1,997 units a year back Honda mentioned that the sales for the month of May’23 were in line with their plan. The Amaze and City continued to garner significant sales and get strong customer preference.
Honda Preparing For Elevate World Premier
Along with this, Honda is preparing itself for the world premiere of their upcoming new SUV model, Honda Elevate. The new Honda SUV has been in the news since then. There has been a lot of buzz around this SUV, thus getting a lot of attention in the market from customers and media alike.
New Spy Shots Of Honda Elevate Revealed
As the final launch day approaches, we now have a multitude of new spy shots of the Japanese automaker Honda’s mid-size SUV, the Elevate. As per recent spy shots, the Honda Elevate will carry a significantly larger footprint in all dimensions. This is when compared to its current outgoing sibling, the HR-V also known as the Vezel in Japan. This is a compact SUV sold by the brand in the Japanese Domestic Market.
The recent spy shots showcase a camouflaged Honda Elevate being tested on Japanese highways. The first picture pits the Honda Elevate against the Honda HR-V (Vezel). Thus highlighting the Elevate’s larger road presence and greater width and height compared to the HR-V. In the Japanese market, the HR-V boasts fairly decent dimensions. The figures are 4340 mm in length, 1790 mm in width, 1582 mm in height, and a 2610 mm long wheelbase.
We assume that the Honda Elevate will measure around 4.4 m in length with a width somewhere from 1820 to 1850 mm. Reports also suggest that its height could measure around 1650 mm. Going by the rumours, the Honda SUV will become the largest in its segment.
