Honda Shine 100 is all ready to set foot in Rajasthan with its revised price. The set price of the bike is lesser than announced initially. Rajasthan will see Honda Shine 100 on sale for INR 62,900 (ex-showroom). Honda Shine 100 was first launched in India in March 2023.
Honda has entered the 100cc segment with Shine 100 and expects to render services to those who need it for city commuting (alone or with family), work basis or otherwise. Honda Shine 100 is a entry-level sibling to the Shine 125 and is the cheapest motorcycle in the Indian market. Back in April, Honda had announced the production and dispatch of Honda Shine 100 from its 3rd factory in Narasapura (Karnataka).
Warranty and ‘100 pe 100’ scheme for Honda Shine 100
Honda has announced a 10 year warranty pack on the Shine 100 motorcycle. The 10 year warranty includes a 3-year standard warranty and a 7-year optional extended warranty. With a special introductory finance offer, Honda has introduced a new scheme called ‘100 pe 100’ where customers can enjoy benefits like Zero Documentation Charge, No Advance EMI’s, Processing fee of only 1 rupee. According to reports, Honda has now applied 12 patent applications for better reliability.
The Shine 100 motorcycle is powered by a 99.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke fuel-injected engine which delivers 5.43 kW power and 8.05 Nm of torque matched to a 4-speed gearbox. This engine is OBD2 & E20 fuel compliant. Honda Shine 100 is also capable of being used on slopes, be it uphill or downhill. The gradeability allows Shine 100 to commute on hilly regions easily, provided the bike moves up on a lower gear. Honda Shine 100’s kerb weight is just 99 kg and the bike claims to deliver fuel efficiency which is best in class.
For the price, the Honda Shine 100 offers basic features such as coloured body graphics on a black base paint, headlamp cowl, all-black alloy wheels, aluminum grab rail, conventional bulb type lights and a black exhaust with silver heat shield. Honda Shine 100 is a very accessible bike offering a longer seat and a reasonable wheelbase, which makes it easy for the buyers to ride it / commute on it.
Honda Shine is available in 5 color options with black color as its base. Options available are black with blue stripes, black with red stripes, black with green stripes, black with gold stripes and lastly black with grey stripes.
