Honda extends warranty & free vehicle service benefits till 31st July 2021

Honda 2Wheelers India announces the extension of Warranty and Free Service for all its customers. This move is similar to a maximum of the automotive companies who also made similar announcements in the recent weeks.

The company mentioned that the customers’ whose vehicle’s free service, warranty and extended warranty was previously scheduled to get over between 1st April 2021 and 31st May 2021 will now get an extension till 31st July 2021. The situation right now is very threatening as the cases keep on increasing. This is compelling everyone to stay at home for as long as possible, thus restricting their movement. Therefore, to help provide the customers with flexible options, Honda 2Wheelers made this announcement.

Honda India Foundation’s Measures To Fight Covid-19

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Honda Group named Honda India Foundation, announced a host of Covid-19 measures. As of now, the company has pledged over INR 65 million to help provide Covid-19 support and relief. The five states that include Haryana, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat will benefit from this donation to bring the situation to normalcy.

Honda is also making substantial efforts for setting up oxygen production plants in the country. Along with this, Honda also provides the frontline workers with PPE kits, masks, sanitisers and other essential medical equipment. Honda is aiding the Government hospitals in the rural areas to procure medical equipment like oxygen concentrators, pulse oximeters and more.

The social arm of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer is setting up a 100-bed facility in Manesar. Honda India Foundation is also working to build a 50-100 bed Covid Care centre at the Government High School in Tapukara, Rajasthan. Recently in the news, it was found that Honda registered a new patent of an electric scooter for India. The e-vehicle made its debut in 2018 Auto Expo Delhi when Honda showcased its concept. Named PCX, this electric scooter is already available in the international market with a mild-hybrid engine. The official launch of the scooter is not yet out. But, we assume that once the Covid-19 situation gets under control, Honda will release further details about the scooter.
