Honda delivers Karnataka’s 100th Africa Twin Adventure Sports motorcycle

Honda 2Wheelers India has now sold 310 units of Africa Twin in India. The state of Karnataka specifically has shown great love for this adventure segment motorcycle. Last month, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer delivered Karnataka’s 100th Africa Twin. This 100th Africa Twin was delivered from BigWing Topline Bengaluru located at 40/1 Vittal Mallya Rd, Shanthala Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Honda 2Wheelers India congratulated BigWing Topline Bengaluru for its efforts in serving the customers of Karnataka. The response has been quite overwhelming and has surpassed the expectations of Honda. Customers outside of Karnataka can book their Africa Adventure Sports from BigWing Topline outlets across India. Currently, the network has its presence in Gurugram, Mumbai, Kochi, Indore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

Key Features Of Africa Twin Adventure Sports

Africa Twin Adventure Sports is an adventure spec motorcycle that gets a host of riding aids to go off-road. Powering the bike is a 1,084cc parallel-twin engine. The bolt-on aluminium sub-frame and swingarm provide adequate support and strength to make the motorcycle capable enough for off-roads.

The motorcycle also boasts of a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that controls Throttle by Wire. Riders also get the option to use Honda’s 7 Level Selectable Torque Control. For the convenience of the riders, Honda has included an array of kits. This consists of a 5-stage Adjustable windscreen, adjustable seat, heated grips, tubeless tyres, Dual LED Headlights and Cruise Control. The fuel tank capacity of 24.5-litres is adequate for long weekend trips. Other features include Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity & a 6.5 inch MID TFT touch screen.

Price Details

Honda is offering the Africa Twin Adventure in two variants, one with the manual transmission and another with the Dual Clutch Transmission. Noteworthy to mention, the manual trim is only available with the Darkness Black Metallic shade, which has a sticker price of INR 15,96,500 (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the dual-clutch transmission trim is only available with the Pearl Glare White Tricolour and retails at INR 17,50,500 (ex-showroom).
